Meet the FosterClub All-Stars! These young leaders have come together to train, educate, and make a difference in the lives of their peers in foster care across America. They travel the country and blog about it here — so follow them through their trials, successes, and day-to-day endeavors.

We turned on a video camera asked some FosterClub All=Stars and other young leaders what FosterClub means to them. See what they said

FosterClub is appreciative of the following sponsors of the All-Star Program. It is only with their support that these dedicated young people can change life in foster care for their younger peers still coming through the system.

The All-star program wouldn't be possible without the generous sponsorships from the following states:
Oregon, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada,
New-York, Missouri, Connecticuit, Michigan, Wisconsin, South Carolina

What’s New @ All Stars Club

How to give

How do you give to somebody without taking away their dignity? This is a question I've been asking my self all summer, but have yet come to a conclusion on. It started immediately before the Oregon teen conference. We had stopped at a rest stop on the way. It was literally in the middle of no where, with nothing but a bathroom and a parking lot for miles.

The end or the beginning

Today I leave for our great capital, D.C. I leave right after I the Senate Caucus on Foster Youth. I cannot tell you how amazing this is going to be but at the same time sad. I feel like I am leaving my new family that has formed over the past 2 months. I know that I will see some of them again but it still is hard to process everything we have done.

foster kid potential

Some times I ask myself weather or not what i do makes a difference. Iether in my own life, or in my advocacy work, it's something that has always made me curious. I don't think the answer to this is an easy one. How do you measure the impact you have on another person. I can honestly say of the hundreds of youth I've interacted with this summer, I did'nt inspire a grand majority of them.

15 more days

So i have 15 more days in the all-star house then off to school.. so happy... This has been a crazy trip. I will take alot ofthings from this trip. I recently just returned from a weel and a day trip in DC and i ade the best of it. The sente caucus was the best. I love how interested the staff where about my personal story. it wasnt like i was just telling it just to tell it.

Walking the path

Lately I've been thinking a lot about Advocacy work in foster care. Sometimes when I look a the enormity of the problems facing foster children and families in the system I'm discouraged. However, it occurred to me the other day while I was hiking that advocacy is like creating a trail.
