Well, it has been too long since I last blogged and a lot has happened since! I try to blog once a month so here is my April entry! :)

I hope you are all doing well. I've been reading the message boards and there is a lot of good stuff on there. So if you haven't visited those, check them out! :)

Anyways, I just wanted to update you all on some things that are happening this month for me.

Hi FosterClub,

I was listening to the new song by Jay-Z called "Forever Young" today and it really spoke to me on many levels.

First off, I really like the chorus line which is actually from an older song by Alphaville. It is an inspirational song and the images in Jay-Z's video are great. The words really made me think about how time goes by so fast and where I am going in my life.

So I received some wonderful questions on my profile page about how I earned my college degree and I thought I would share it with you all so that if any of you have the same questions, maybe this can help! :D

So Halloween just passed 2 days ago and it got me thinking about the amazing, stressful, sometimes hurtful, lonely, expectant, happy, expensive, drama-filled, you-fill-in-the-blank, HOLIDAYS.

Hello Everyone!

So I recently attended the Minnesota conference for just one day, but it was an amazing day! We started at 9am with registration and were anticipating 150 youth. We did not get that many but that just made the conference more personable and I was able to interact with more youth on a one-on-one basis, which I love.

Hello Again!

Wow it's been a while since I last wrote a blog. I'm just getting used to being at home again, living with my foster family that took me in when I was only 5 years old. They have been a solid loving presence in my life and I don't know what I would do without them.

Hello FosterClub!

Wow, I've been home for a week now and it seems like it's been an eternity. I miss my All-Star family soo much. Thank goodness for today's technology! :)

So this is the start of a new chapter in my life. Time to focus on myself for the first time in my life. It's time to work through my issues stemming from my childhood and accept who I am today. It is time for me to find out who I want to be as a person and work towards that goal. I am taking a year to delve into my past and find that little girl who has been hiding inside me for 22 years.
