Heather is a student, an animal lover, music fiend… and a foster kid.

Although Heather now lives independently, she has been in the foster care system for three years and has lived in five different placements. Heather will be attending a vocational college in her home state of Connecticut to become a licensed practical nurse. Her future career goal is to work for Life Star Emergency Services.
