Greta Anderson, Age 21
2 years in Wisconsin’s foster care system
View Greta's Blog
Greta is a painter, pug-owner, political junkie, and a foster kid.
Greta entered the Wisconsin foster care system at the age of fifteen; placed in care as a result of a messy family court situation. During her time in care she grappled with being separated from her younger sister and other members of her biological family. She is currently thriving as an art education major at the University of Wisconsin- Stout. Greta can’t wait to get her master’s degree in art therapy and get a job coloring with clients all day. She is slowly becoming the kind of adult she wished for as a kid. Greta is a painter, pug-owner, political junkie, and a foster kid. See Greta’s Profile
Greta recently testified in front of the U.S. Congressional Representatives about the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoption Act of 2008

hey greta.
this is jenn from the silly six.
just thought i would say hi.
had a great time meeting you at the tlt conference.
Hi Greta - I think thats very cool you go to UW-Stout. I went to UW Superior for a bit and thought about transferring. Take care!
hi greta lemon here i really miss you
Congratulations Greta! Your mother actually took time out to give me a call. It was such a great surprise as I had been thinking about her earlier in the day. It shouldn't be a surprise as I think about alot more days than I realize. I guess that is the love for a true friend.
I am soooooooo happy that you have made such a great life for yourself. You certainly be successful in whatever you pursue as you are your mother's daughter and are bound to become a strong, loving adult, just as she is.
You will hardly remember me as the years reaising children have created some distance for your mother and I, but my friends and their families are always in my prayers.
It will be fun to follow all your adventures. Love to all, Your mom's friend in Appleton---Colleen
