Dhieu is ambitious, a self-motivator, a visionary, and a foster kid.

Dhieu moved to the U.S. in 2001 from southern Sudan due to the civil war. He was later placed into foster care at the age of 15 and then aged out of the foster care system. Dhieu went on to attend the University of Portland, graduating in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He has been supporting his family back in Sudan by sending them money every month, stating “I embrace these responsibilities as an integral part of my life.” Dhieu’s career goals include becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
