Apply to be an All-Star
Uh Oh! You're using the Internet Explorer 6 Browser. Our site doesn't work as well for this browser, and in general it's 4 years old now and not very good.
To get the maximum amount of pleasure while browsing this and other websites you can download for free any one of these:
But if you can't download a new version on this computer you'll still be ok. Just not great! ;-P

Overview | Details | Apply | Recommend
Thanks for your interest in becoming a FosterClub All-Star! Please note: Applications are due by February 21, 2010. There are two parts to the application process, so please read all instructions below.
Part 1: Application
The All-Star application must be completed online. The application may require up to two hours to complete. To help you prepare, we have provided downloadable Word and PDF versions of the application. We strongly encourage you to download a practice application, review the questions, and write out practice essay questions, which you can then use to copy into your application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted, so please take your time to review questions and allow adequate time to complete the entire application. If you are a member of FosterClub, we also recommend that you are logged in to the site when filling out the application.
download a practice application:
2010 FosterClub All-Star practice Microsoft Word Version
2010 FosterClub All-Star practice Adobe PDF Version
(You need Adobe Reader to open a PDF, download it here for free.)
Part 2: Recommendations
Your application is not complete without two recommendations. Deadline for recommendations is February 21st, 2010. The people you choose to provide a recommendation will be asked to rate your leadership skills and any other qualities that would make you a good candidate to become an All-Star. Some people you may want to ask for a recommendation include employers or managers, teachers, coaches, pastors, Independent Living Providers, leaders of extra-curricular activities (club leaders, scout leaders, etc.), foster parents, or managers of any of your volunteer activities. Recommendations should not be from friends or relatives. Send an e-mail to someone you would like to ask for a recommendation.
2008 All-Star Sade Bradford has made a video about her All-Star Experience and why she thinks YOU should apply in 2010. Watch the video...
If you have any questions about the All-Star program or the application process, please call Lupe at FosterClub at 503-717-1552 or e-mail lupe@fosterclub.com.
